POSITION DESCRIPTION: Qualified Plumber/Apprentice Plumber

Healey Services Group Pty Ltd (HSG Pty Ltd) based in South East Melbourne (Bayles, 3981) are currently seeking an experienced Plumber and 1st to 4th year Apprentices to join our team. In these position, the success applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation and repair of the plumbing systems in both commercial and residential buildings. We complete a variety of works across the domestic and commercial market along with maintenance and renovation services across all domains.

Responsibilities & Duties
Qualified applicants will be expected to be able to complete the following, while apprentices will be provided with all adequate training to become competent in the below during their tenure with HSG Pty Ltd
• Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Respond to plumbing calls outs as per rostered
• Install plumbing systems in existing and new commercial and domestic properties
• Work with our Director to collaborate plan and approach for plumbing work to be performed
• Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing so that systems pass inspection the first time
• Provide support, training and guidance to junior staff within the company (supervised by Director)

Skills & Competences
(** Denotes essential for Qualified Plumbing applicants only)
• Trade qualification required**
• Full-Drivers License (Including Manual)
• 5+ years’ technical and trade experience**
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems**
• Understanding of the current regulations within the field**
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Skill areas include experience in rough-in, fit-off, drainage**

Expectations/Requirements
• Travel to a variety of worksites across Metropolitan Melbourne & Regional Victoria
• Alignment to company values and vision (as per below)
• Completion of works at high & effective standard as guided by the Director of HSG Pty Ltd
• Communication regularly with Director of HSG Pty Ltd
• Team member to have own set of plumbing hand tools and 18V power tools
• Overtime will be required depending on current workflow and projects
