On the back of growth of the business and expansion into Melbourne’s west we are seeking an experienced qualified plumber / drainer to join our Katam Drainage operations on a full-time permanent basis based in Altona North. Katam Drainage is not your typical drainage company and perform a wide range of specialised drainage works across the sewer network primarily across the Melbourne metro area and Geelong.

Duties include:

• Residential drainage construction for new construction single dwellings, dual occupancy and / or medium density projects.
• Live sewer drainage works including HCB / PCB excavation and construction, maintenance hole and chamber construction, localised sewer and stormwater main upgrades.
• Trenchless sewer / stormwater rehabilitation using Quicklock and fibreglass patching.
• Sewer / stormwater drainage cleaning and CCTV condition inspections.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Qualified and registered plumber / drainer.
• Previous experience in drainage works either within the residential new construction or commercial essential.
• Previous experience in live sewer drainage works not essential but highly regarded.
• Experience and/or qualified excavator operator up to 13t.
• Drivers Licence – Heavy Rigid (HR) essential.
• Construction Induction (White Card).
• Positive attitude and work ethic.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Adaptive and willingness to learn and adopt new ways of performing your role.
