About the Role

This key role requires a strong team player to undertake various warehouse activities safely. Duties will include:

• Supporting the co-ordination of team resources.
• Ensuring a safety-first approach including compliance with traffic management policies and organisational processes.
• Processing goods inward into the Pronto system.
• Printing and processing of pick slips.
• Scheduling dispatch of domestic orders including manifesting.
• Picking, packing and palletising of stock.
• Loading and unloading stock from trucks and containers.
• Using RF Scanner to pick and pack orders.
• Operating an automatic stretch wrap machine, including associated tools and equipment.
• Maintaining inventory integrity/accuracy/storage including cyclic stocktaking.
• Dealing with hazardous chemicals (dangerous goods).
• Continuously reviewing work processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Experience using a computer to transact in a warehouse environment
• Proven experience in a similar warehouse position.
• An understanding of dangerous goods classes and segregation for storage and transport.
• To be able to coordinate work in a team environment under limited supervision.
• A valid forklift or Reach Truck license

Highly Desirable:

• A knowledge of Pronto (or other ERP systems) including stock adjustments, location changes and printing of picking strips. .
