The Role
We are seeking a General Manager to lead and drive the commercial success of a fast-growing data solutions business. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced sales leader to shape the future of AI-driven solutions in manufacturing and industrial sectors.
As part of the leadership team and reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key relationships, and leading a team to achieve ambitious growth targets. This role requires a commercially focused professional with a deep understanding of selling technology-driven solutions to B2B markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Build strong relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine go-to-market strategies.
- Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
- Ensure exceptional customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Ensure that the Data Solutions team achieves its financial targets and sales KPIs.
- Travel to prospective and customer sites for meetings to advance potential sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective pre-sales activities and the implementation of the proposed solution.
- Identify revenue potential at each customer site and implement a plan to address it.
About You
- Experience in the Manufacturing sector, particularly in the use or implementation of ERP/PLM Technologies.
- Ability to present at user groups and industry forums on Design Technology in the context of our product solutions.
- 5 Years + Experience in selling solutions, preferably involving technology in ANZ B2B markets.
- 3 years + people management experience (teams of 5 people or more) in a sales or customer service setting.
- A demonstrated ability to build, coach, and lead successful sales teams.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- A strategic and hands-on approach with a focus on driving results.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field (highly regarded)
Salary and Benefits
- $150K - $170K Base Salary
- Annual Bonus
