About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Warehouse Assistant to support our operations team in ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored efficiently. This role involves picking and packing orders, scanning deliveries, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Move inventory and materials across the warehouse.
• Process and prepare medical kits and other critical inventory for delivery.
• Sort, organize, and store inventory in correct locations.
• Correctly package and label items for transport.
• Scan delivered items and adhere to quality control processes.
• Report any damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
• Stack and organize large bulk items safely.
• Maintain accurate records and update inventory systems.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
• Operate heavy machinery, such as a walkie stacker, as required.
• Follow workplace safety policies and wear required safety equipment.

About You

• Experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using technology, including inventory systems.
• Physically fit and able to lift/move inventory as required.
• Willing to work flexible hours, mainly in the afternoon shift (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
