Pay range: $85,000 - $95,000 excluding superannuation
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Events Advisor to play a key role in reviewing, developing, and implementing resources to ensure the successful delivery of events across multiple platforms. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with internal teams and external providers to enhance event planning and execution.

What We Are Looking For:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in event management and delivery.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
Superb attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong interpersonal, listening, and networking skills to build productive relationships.
Experience with event systems, including registration, payment collection, and webinar platforms.
Highly desirable: Experience working with First Nations organisations and people.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with executives to develop short-term strategic plans for upcoming events.
Review and improve event planning systems, including registration, payment collection, and webinar platforms.
Develop resources for various event types (workshops, webinars, summits), including reference guides and process flowcharts.
Research and compile venue, hotel, and catering options across Australia.
Provide training and education to key staff on event management, promotion, and best practices.
Develop and maintain a 12-month internal event calendar for staff and an external sector-wide event calendar.
Create and maintain a central event record in SharePoint for easy access and continuous updates.
Lead procurement for event providers, securing agreements for 1-2 years.
Collaborate with the Communications team to enhance event branding and promotion.
