About the Role
As a Senior Loan Manager, you’ll be at the frontline of helping Australian businesses grow by guiding owners through the lending process, matching them with the best solutions, presenting options and ensuring they get the financial support they need.
This is much more than a loan processing role - you’ll be a trusted advisor, a strategist, and a key player in the business and in our client's success. You’ll have the autonomy to manage a portfolio, build long-term client relationships, and shape the future of how we work with our valued customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Be the key point of contact for SMEs looking for funding—help them navigate their options with confidence.
Understand client needs deeply and match them with the most suitable lending and payment solutions.
Guide customers through our comparison models, ensuring they understand their options and feel empowered to make informed decisions.
Manage a growing customer pipeline, tracking opportunities and interactions using our CRM.
Work closely with external service providers to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of solutions.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering clear, tailored advice.
Contribute insights and ideas to help improve our product offerings and overall customer experience.

What You Bring
- Experience in lending, credit, or SME-focused financial services role/s.
- Exceptional skill and experience interfacing directly with customers
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to build trust and rapport rapidly with customers.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of SME clients, guiding them through decision processes.
- Experience in loan structuring, credit analysis, or financial product matching (preferred but not essential).
- Confidence in using CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Great to Have (Adventagous But Not Required)
- Background in commercial finance, lending, or payments.
- Experience working with SMEs or running an SME business
- Ability to review and interpret financial data
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
