JOB TYPE: Part-time (0.4FTE), fixed-term contract (6-month initial appointment with potential extension).

PAY GUIDE: Level 4, Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award.

LOCATION: Hybrid - 1 x office day (Monday) and 1 x remote flexible day.

SUPERVISOR: Chief Executive Officer & Chief Finance Officer.

DIRECT REPORTS: N/A.

OVERVIEW

Hello Initiative (HI) operates within the youth justice domain in Western Australia. Our flagship program is the Mobile Support Project which promotes digital inclusion for young people engaged in the WA criminal justice system. As the Partnerships Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading HI’s activities related to the procurement and management of secondhand and refurbished mobile devices that are used to support young people through this program. You will form part of a small team of paid staff supporting a larger group of volunteers to ensure HI’s programs are appropriately resourced and run smoothly. This role will work closely with senior leadership to set direction and identify priority activities within the Partnerships domain in order to deliver on our strategic priorities.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Pathways and Partnerships - Design and Implementation:

  • Collaborate with the HI leadership team to develop structured pathways for mobile device donations into the organisation on an ongoing basis.
  • Implement and evaluate pilot activities for new donation pathways.
  • Set and monitor progress towards KPIs for program resourcing.

Stakeholder Relationship Management:

  • Act as the main HI point of contact for device donation partners to ensure they are informed of relevant HI activities and milestones, and establish robust ongoing relationships.
  • Identify the needs of device donation partners and work with HI leadership to establish necessary business processes to meet these needs.
  • Attend industry events to represent HI and foster the development of new device donation partners.

Administration:

  • Keep up-to-date records of activities and partnerships using HI’s preferred databasing software/s.
  • Support HI and partners in impact and outcome report as required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship development / management skills, with demonstrated experience in managing external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent time management skills and demonstrated capacity to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • High level of attention to detail, including data and record management skills.
  • Passion for working to improve outcomes for vulnerable populations and values congruence with the HI model.

Desirable Selection Criteria:

  • Strong skills in information management including use of a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) system.
  • Experience in impact and outcome reporting, or other complex report development.
  • Qualifications or ongoing study relevant to business or non-profit management, supply chain management, fundraising or a related field will be viewed positively.
  • Robust understanding of HI’s projects and program objectives.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in the non-profit sector, with a focus on youth justice or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, including grant writing, donor cultivation, and relationship management with funders or other partners.
  • Experience working in youth justice or other youth work will be viewed positively
  • Experience in not-for-profit or start-up management will be viewed positively.

Additional Requirements:

  • A valid Working with Children Check, evidence of full Covid-19 vaccinations, and recent WA Police Clearance (within 2 years) will be required.
  • Driver’s licence and access to own transport required.
