About the Role
The HR Business Partner serves as an advisor, partnering with managers to drive organizational success through effective HR solutions.
This role provides guidance on HR-related matters, fosters positive employee relations, and manages end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workers' compensation.
The HR Business Partner also oversees all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the HR department.
Location: Castle Hill NSW (100% onsite)
Duration: Permanent
Days & Hours: Full-Time (8am-4pm, 30 min lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance processes, set goals, provide feedback, and support managers with team development.
- Talent Management: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention strategies.
- Strategic HR Planning: Align HR strategies with business objectives and analyse workforce data to inform decisions.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Create and implement HR policies that comply with legal regulations.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee competitive compensation programs and manage employee benefits.
- Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives to enhance engagement and use feedback for improvements.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor HR program effectiveness through metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven HR experience, preferably in a business partner role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
- Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Proven ability to develop and implement long-term HR plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and employees.
- Expertise in employment law, HR policies, and procedures.
- Proficient with HR and Payroll management systems.
- Membership with AHRI and AHRI CPHR certification preferred.
- Driver’s License and willingness to travel.
- NDIS Clearance, Working with Children Check, and First Aid Certificate.
Travel Requirements:
While the role is mainly based in Castle Hill, some travel is required (1-3 times a week) to other locations such as Pennant Hills, Parramatta, and Penrith to support General Managers and Service Managers.
