The Australian International Institute of Higher Education (AIIHE) is a registered Higher Education Institute approved by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). AIIHE has two approved CRICOS sites in Brisbane and Sydney.
AIIHE is seeking to appoint multiple Research supervision roles for the proposed Business Research Program:

Role and Key Contributions:
As a Master of Business Research Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding postgraduate candidates to achieve academic and professional success. Your contributions will include:
• Quality Oversight: Monitor research progress to ensure academic rigour, ethical standards, and alignment with institutional goals.
• Mentorship: Advise candidates on skill development (e.g., methodology, data analysis, academic writing) to enhance their research capabilities.
• Timely Completion: Provide strategic guidance to support candidates in meeting milestones and submitting high-quality work within deadlines.
• Progress Reporting: Deliver regular, actionable updates to stakeholders on candidate progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Selection Criteria:
To thrive in this role, applicants must demonstrate the following (responses to selection criteria must be submitted as a separate document):
1. Academic Excellence:
o A Higher Degree by Research (PhD or equivalent) in Business Management, Organisational Leadership, or a related field; or
o Equivalent scholarly achievements (e.g., publications, industry leadership); or
2. Proven Supervision Experience:
o Track record of successfully supervising or co-supervising postgraduate research students (HDR completions preferred).
3. Research Leadership:
o Active engagement in research over the past three years, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications, competitive grants, or impactful industry collaborations.
4. Collaborative Communication:
o Exceptional interpersonal skills to support students from diverse backgrounds and foster productive relationships with academic peers.

Person specification:
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of a course, including curriculum development in a higher education setting.
• Active in scholarship and professional development as reflected in publications, conference presentations, membership of professional associations and research
•Knowledge of contemporary teaching, learning and assessment principles relevant to the Information Systems discipline and experience in implementing these principles
• Management experience with the ability to motivate, lead and develop people, including team building and mentoring.
• Professional or industry experience
• Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills

Qualifications:
A relevant higher degree by research, such as a PhD and DBA

Remuneration:
An appropriate award rate will be offered to the successful candidate, depending on the combination of skills and experience.
