The Australian Medical Council is a national medical education standards and assessment authority.
The Strategic Project Manager plays an integral role in the design and execution of projects that will shape the future standards of medical education and training, and medical practice.
You will need strong communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills, a love of learning, problem solving and analysis skills, and a commitment to collaborative practice.

Terms
This position is available for 30 months as a full-time back fill contract while the permanent employee supports another major project. The position works with a team that is Canberra-based.
The role
- Manage strategic projects from planning to delivery and evaluation, on time and on budget using project management tools and methodologies.
- Identify and manage risks.
- Manage project reporting.
- Manage project governance to deliver outcomes, and support expert input, critical review, and development of networks and communities of practice.
- Create respectful and consultative working relationships with stakeholders and partners to build on shared commitment to high standards of medical education, training and practice.
