Support Procurement and Contract Administration for Cutting-Edge Energy Storage Project

Our Client is seeking a skilled Contracts and Procurement Coordinator to coordinate end-to-end procurement and contract administration for their Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project in Brendale, Brisbane.

About the Role

This permanent position offers an attractive package of $135,000 base + 11.5% super + site allowances + performance bonus. Based at the Project site at Brendale in Brisbane's northern suburbs, you'll play a crucial role in procuring and administering contracts for one of Australia's largest battery energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for major asset packages
  • Prepare tender documents and specifications
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Coordinate the full procurement lifecycle from requisition to closeout
  • Monitor contractor performance and manage variations
  • Generate executive reporting on procurement and contract status
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years experience in project procurement and contract administration
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, commerce, or engineering
  • Experience in energy sector or large infrastructure projects
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented approach with commercial mindset
  • Experience with BESS or renewable energy projects highly valued
