About The Opportunity

Are you a proactive and organised professional with a passion for delivering high-quality administrative support? We're looking for a Depot Operations Support Officer to play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient operations at our North Depot, contributing to the success of our Parks, Sport, and Natural Areas branch.

About You

  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality administrative and operational support in a customer-focused environment.
  • Experience in document management, correspondence distribution, and data entry.
  • Ability to manage workflows, meet deadlines, and respond to multiple customer needs with general supervision.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of, Council policies, procedures, and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn other corporate software packages.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to consult, problem-solve, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional and positive manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle matters of a sensitive nature with tact and discretion.
  • Provision of a satisfactory Criminal History Check – Police Certificate (Australia-wide, name only).
  • Certificate III in Business Administration desirable
  • Experience in the use of Civica Authority or other corporate information systems desirable
  • Experience working in a depot or similar environment desirable
