District Administration Officer

This opportunity offers:

  • Part-time temporary employment (14 hours p/w) up to mid-June 2025, with transition to full-time employment (35 hours p/w) from 16 June 2025 until 9 July 2026
  • Attractive annual salary $74,514 - $81,005 p.a. (pro rata) plus 11.5% superannuation
  • Location: Griffith Fire Control Centre, MIA Rural Fire District
  • 5 weeks annual leave for Western Zone location applicable

What You’ll be doing:

The NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) is seeking a dedicated District Administration Officer to join our team at the Griffith Fire Control Centre. In this front-facing role, you will provide high-level customer service to both volunteers and the general public, supporting our mission to protect communities and the environment from fire and emergencies.

The role is initially part-time (2 days per week) until mid-June 2025, then full-time until July 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to volunteers and the public
  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist in coordinating district activities and communications
