Some of the areas you will work across include:
• General building maintenance around Byron Shire
• Building maintenance duties include: painting, carpentry, general building duties, landscaping and plumbing
• Ad hoc duties for Council
• Ad hoc duties for local Property Management Business
• Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Please note that manual labour and lifting is required.

To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Be positive and enthusiastic.
• Understand the importance of adhering to Council regulations and procedures.
• Willingness to be self motivated and take initiative when working alone.
• Have great problem solving abilities.
• High level of professionalism.
• Experienced, preferably in the building maintenance industry.
• Be a good communicator and good team player.
• Have a manual drivers license.

Must have van or Ute

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to work autonomously and possess experience in building maintenance. Hands-on skills in concreting, painting, carpentry, and tiling are ideal, along with a basic understanding of plumbing and electrical principles. The ability to adapt to changing processes and technology is also important.

Salary
Commencing wage starting from $40 p.h. plus superannuation. (Dependent on skills and experience.)
