Project Management
Lead projects from initiation to completion with precision—plan, deliver, and finalise seamlessly. Drive efficiency by developing key project documents, keeping capital programs on track, applying best-practice methodologies, managing complex functions across quality, design, and construction, advising stakeholders on critical success factors, and ensuring alignment with the broader program of works.
Relationship and Risk Management
Drive strong relationships and mitigate risks with proactive leadership—supervise and support your team, build strategic stakeholder connections, influence thinking with best-practice insights, and stay ahead of emerging developments. Develop, execute, and monitor risk, procurement, resource, and communication plans to engage stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
Engage, inform, and manage project stakeholders with clear, strategic communication—oversee standards, assess deliverables, and ensure project success. Provide expert project management and technical advice to steering committees, sponsors, teams, Council officers, and Councillors. Tailor communication for impact, monitor feedback, and adapt your approach to maximise clarity and effectiveness.
Expert Advice
Offer expert guidance on closed landfill waste management, tackling complex issues, industry trends, and best practices. Oversee project delivery—from brief preparation and procurement to administration and consultant management. Leverage intelligence, networking, and professional expertise to provide informed advice, ensuring alignment with industry standards and technical frameworks.
Reporting
Keep stakeholders informed and projects on track with clear, consistent reporting—deliver scheduled checkpoint, monthly highlight, and exception reports to the Project Sponsor and Steering Committee. Maintain high-quality administrative and financial records for accurate project tracking. Engage stakeholders with minimal direction, manage Divisional Councillors’ expectations regarding the closed landfill waste program, and coordinate Program Coordination Group meetings in line with PPMF. Identify and escalate risks as needed while demonstrating expertise in budget management and planning.

The Senior Projects Coordinator leads key Waste Infrastructure projects, aligning with community and corporate priorities. Overseeing closed landfill remediation, they ensure projects are expertly managed, strategically aligned, and regulatory-compliant. From securing stakeholder buy-in to driving execution, they manage scope, budget, and delivery—keeping everything on track from start to finish.
