Primary Purpose:
As a Senior Payroll Officer, your main mission is to execute precise and punctual payroll processing while collaborating with our Vertaview Group Shared Services Payroll Manager to enhance governance and deliver top-notch payroll services.
Key Functional Accountabilities:
You'll be at the heart of our payroll operations, focusing on Payroll Metrics and UKG Dimensions (Workforce Management) to seamlessly manage fortnightly payroll processing. Point to note – this is a manual payroll process, so be ready to dive in while we work on technological improvements to include each of our functional entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process approved payroll adjustments efficiently.
- Handle employee onboarding via HCM and Payroll systems.
- Process terminations, including redundancy payments.
- Manage, reconcile, and remit PAYG to the ATO as per internal deadlines.
- Contribute to Salary Packaging processes with multiple providers.
- Maintain and reconcile leave entitlements as necessary.
- Reconcile monthly Superannuation in line with legislative requirements.
About You:
- Demonstrated knowledge of business systems and processes with a focus on high-volume payroll processing.
- Experience in interpreting awards and familiarity with Payroll Metrics and UKG Dimensions is advantageous.
- Strong grasp of the MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and engagement skills, combined with sound judgement, active listening, and a respectful, open communication style.

What do you need to apply?
- Previous practical payroll experience.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) – or be willing to obtain.
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) – or be willing to obtain.
- NDIS Worker Orientation certificate completed. If you need to obtain it, login to https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au.
- Recent Police Check (within 3 months).
