Hume Anglican Grammar is a multi-campus co-educational Anglican Diocesan School offering education from Prep to Year 12 in the Northern growth corridor of Melbourne.

About the role:
The Media and Publications Officer has overall responsibility for the supply of media, photography, videography, general content creation, branding and contributing to the production of the School magazine, publications, and communication with the School community.
The Media and Publications Officer plays a pivotal role in promoting the School to the community with a particular focus on creating engaging content that actively endorses the School across a range of different mediums. They will develop and maintain content that enhances the School’s image and reputation.
This position is based at the Freier Campus (previously Mt Ridley Campus) with a requirement to travel to other campuses. In the future there may be the requirement to perform part or all of this role at other locations.
Due to the nature of the role, some duties will need to be performed at times other than during the day, including afterhours in the evenings and on weekends.
The Media and Publications Officer works collaboratively with a range of school departments, in particular the enrolments team and reports to the Marketing and Communications Manager.
This position is Full time (1.0 FTE) working at our Freier Campus, commencing at the beginning of April 2025.
Requirements of the Role:
- Qualifications in marketing, digital content creation and publishing, communications, or like discipline
- Knowledge of approaches to marketing and promotion
- A passion and interest in photography and videography
- Digital literacy in a business environment and/or the drive to learn new skills
- Current Working with Children Check
