Your Opportunity

You will be responsible for supporting the PTS Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) within our defence contracts (CASG/ASD/030/2015/S).

Your Responsibilities

• Pre-flight, post-flight bay servicing of aircrew life support equipment
• Ensure that all maintenance is correctly and appropriately documented and certified
• Ensure all entries and certifications for work undertaken is completed and certified
• Ensure all data, release notes and certificates of conformance for components and parts used during servicing or maintenance are accompanying the respective work sheet/work package
• Kitting and fitting out of aircrew with their personal life support equipment
• Management of ALSE & associated explosive ordnance within CofA management systems.
• Configuration management of ALSE within PTS Maintenance Management System.
• Provide ALSE service at deployed locations as identified within the Daily Flying program
• Ensure Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is serviceable and report any defects or deficiencies.
• Assist with defect analysis and investigations and complete ‘defect reports’ as required.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, as well as part of a wider team
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with PTS stakeholders. Foster a sense of ‘Safety First’ within the Jet Aviation maintenance team.
• Actively support and participate in the Jet Aviation Core Values and Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures as detailed in the Jet Aviation Governance and Polices Manual.
• Work with the Quality and Aviation Safety Manager in the maintenance of Quality and Aviation Safety responsibilities including participation in audits, technical investigations.
• Promote the continual improvement processes including LEAN methodologies.
• Positively represent Jet Aviation as one company with internal and external stakeholders.
• Other duties as may be assigned to you in support of the company/organisational requirements and site operational requirement in discussion your People Leader

What will help you to succeed

• Hold or have the ability to obtain a NV1 Security Clearance
• Certificate III Aeroskills (Aeronautical Life Support and Furnishings)
• Demonstrated understanding of Aviation regulatory requirements for Aircraft maintenance, both civil & military (Part 145)
• Computer Literate in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience in a Customer Focused Work environment with multiple priorities and project deadlines
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, as well as part of a wider team
• Common courtesy and customer orientation
• Ability to work flexible schedules (inclusive of deployments with aircraft as required)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions as well as meeting minimum physical requirements of the job
