About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT department in Osborne, SA. This is a great entry level position and/or an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their skills and career. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be responsible for managing IT tickets, providing A+ customer service, and supporting ASC’s corporate computing devices and collaborative environments across both WA and SA. This role offers a growth opportunity for those who are eager to develop their technical expertise and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and technical support to end-users.
• Manage IT tickets and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to advanced technical issues.
• Maintain and develop local IT guidelines, processes, and procedures.
• Support ASC’s corporate computing devices, Microsoft Office services, and collaborative environments.
• Work collaboratively with the IT support team and other business units.
• Ensure compliance with IT service management processes and best practices.

About You

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT), Computer Science, or relevant certifications
• Strong understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library and ITSM (IT Service Management) principles and best practices.
• Understanding of troubleshooting hardware devices, software, telecommunications, and network issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment, and strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Desirable

• Experience in a technical support role, preferably in a service desk or help desk environment.
• Technical proficiency in understanding and implementing technical solutions and enterprise architecture.
• Ability to foster good working relationships with other technology teams and business units.
• Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and methodologies.

Eligibility
