Position Overview:
Room Leader: Happy Seeds Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma Qualified Room Leader to lead our team in providing high-quality care and education to children in a specific age group. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, along with experience in leading a classroom or educational setting.

As a Room Leader at our Centre, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging educational programs, observing children’s development, and creating a nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. You will work closely with educators and families to ensure each child receives indiviualised care and support.

In addition to leading the daily operations of your room, you will collaborate with the management team to maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and uphold the centre's policies and procedures. Your role as a Room Leader is crucial in providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children in your care.

Assistant Educator (Multiple positions available)
Happy Seeds Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten is looking for multiple Assistant Educators to support our teaching team in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidates will have a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, along with a genuine passion for working with young children.

As an Assistant Educator at our centre, you will work collaboratively with our lead educators to provide a safe and stimulating learning experience for children. You will assist in implementing educational programs, observing children's development, and supporting their social and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
~ Lead and supervise a team of educators in the toddler room.
~ Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
~ Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
~ Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
~ Maintain accurate records and documentation related to children's progress and daily activities.
~ Collaborate with other staff members and participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
~ Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification (minimum requirement).
~ Availability to work 4 to 5 days a week.
~ Previous experience in working in a room leader role in a childcare setting.
~ Strong understanding of child development principles and early years learning frameworks.
~ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
~ Ability to lead and motivate a team.
~ Current First Aid, CPR, Police Check, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
