This is a newly created full-time role (part-time will be considered) to assist a high growth company with financial reporting, FP&A (in a manufacturing environment), project accounting support and system implementation for the Finance team. We are looking for a proactive, autonomous and detail-oriented finance professional who is interested in working with a dynamic team and fast-paced environment. The role requires a degree of flexibility and adaptation in a high growth environment, highly suitable for candidates with strong prioritisation and coordination skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Assist with the preparation and tracking of budgets and forecasts through collaboration with departmental managers
• Conduct analysis of project costing and revenue generating activities, including coordination with project managers
• Assist with the implementation and the maintenance of ERP and other financial software
• Assist with the preparation of ASX statutory reporting
• Ensure business compliance with government regulations and internal controls
• Coordinate with other business stakeholders to identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities
• Ensure cross functional capability in finance team as backup for other team members

Qualifications:

• ERP system (commercial manufacturing experience preferred)
• AP automation, Payroll processing
• Microsoft Excel (and high proficiency in other Microsoft products preferred)

• An Accounting, Economics, Commerce or similar undergraduate degree or higher qualification
• CPA or CA commenced or completed
• Advanced proficiency utilising software including:
• Understanding of the requirements, reporting, and application of Australian and International Accounting Standards where applicable
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance role, within commercial manufacturing environment
• Experience in management reporting, FP&A, internal and external audit procedures
• Strong investigative and problem-solving skills, ability to adapt, navigate and reorganise in a fast-paced environment
• Listed / global company experience preferred
