About the Role:
Physiotherapy within Acute Allied Health Services provides services to a range of clients in acute inpatient wards, specialised outpatient settings, and the Emergency Department and Urgent Care Clinic. Our physiotherapists work closely with patients, carers, referrers, other health care professionals and multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, high quality patient care.
Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists are employed within the Emergency Department and Urgent Care Clinic to provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management for patients and reliable consultancy, professional leadership, and education within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
This position supports the delivery of extended hours service the Emergency Department and Urgent Care Clinic. As such, you will be required to participate in a shift, overtime and/or restricted on-call roster.
Clinical supervision, and professional development is provided through team structures, supervision support, competency-based assessments and professional development opportunities.
Please note: There are two positions available - one temporary 4 months with possibility of extension and/ or permanency and one 15 months with possibility of extension and/ or permanency.
