About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manger - Technology to business partner with the CTO supporting end-to-end investments spend. This role will be heavily involved in the financial management of CAPEX projects ensuring the IT division and business meet their financial objectives. Leading a small team, this is an impactful business critical role ensuring financial best practices and alignment with organisational strategy.

Duties

• Manage, mentor and lead a small team
• Own the financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting relating to Technology investment spend
• Drive CAPEX modelling strategies including the preparation of business cases and presentation to the investment committee
• Lead the business transformation projects to drive business improvements
• Maintain strong knowledge of the Technology function to be able to challenge where required
• Lead the analysis and reporting of technology projects highlighting risks and opportunities
• Analyse and understand the value chain of financials and what drives the numbers
• Deliver data driven insights and analysis to create performance visibility for the SLT and division leaders
• Collaborate with senior leadership to set and assess financial goals
• Maintain a vibrant fun team culture with continued team success

Skills and Experience

• 8+ years commercial finance experience partnering IT / Technology
• Effective Finance leader who inspires and motivates others
• Proven Technology investment experience managing the end-to-end process
• Deep understanding of Technology, preferably data centres
• Background in complex business environments is ideal
• Strong analytical skills for resolving complex issues
