Primary STEM Teacher
Part-Time, Fixed-Term Contract

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated STEM Teacher to join a vibrant Catholic Primary School community in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

This is a fixed-term part-time position, commencing as soon as able in Term 1 ideally, or Term 2 and running until the end of the year, with teaching responsibilities across Prep to Grade 6.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging STEM lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on learning across Prep to Grade 6.
• Integrate technology and innovative resources into STEM lessons to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Foster curiosity and a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by creating real-world connections and project-based learning experiences.
• Support students in developing inquiry skills, promoting collaboration, and encouraging independent thinking through STEM challenges and investigations.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate STEM concepts into other subject areas and foster a cross-curricular approach.
• Use data and feedback to assess student progress in STEM and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Participate in the school's ongoing professional development program, focusing on the latest STEM education practices and trends.
