Are you passionate about IT support and customer service? Do you have a keen interest in troubleshooting technical issues and assisting colleagues with their IT needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic IT team as a Level 1 Service Desk Officer.
About the Role
As a Level 1 Service Desk Officer, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries within the organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality technical support, ensuring that all incidents and requests are resolved efficiently. You will work within a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other IT professionals to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, and ticketing system.
Triage, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Log and track IT incidents, escalating complex cases to Level 2 support when necessary.
Assist with user account management, including password resets and access requests.
Maintain accurate records of IT issues and resolutions in the service desk system.
Offer guidance and training to users on IT best practices.
Support IT projects and initiatives as required.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and Microsoft Office applications.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
A team player who is eager to learn and develop within an IT support role.
Previous experience in an IT support
