The CFO is looking for an experienced qualified accountant looking for a leadership of finance function and team position with mentoring and excellent company culture.

The Role
The CFO is an engaging and warm natural leader looking for a talented qualified accountant to mentor and nurture into finance management and control for their future career as a FC/CFO.

Key responsibilities of this appointment will include:

Ownership and delivery of month end reporting for financials and management reporting pack
Reconciliations across GL, CC and bank accounts oversight
Management of accounts clerks and assistant accountants
Set the timetable of yearly accounting operations from year end to budget season
Year end reporting and preparation for audit
KPI reporting and finance business partnering engagement with operations

This is a business engaging position requiring excellent presentation, communication and patience so prior experience in Board and front end operational presentations is daily. Project management and communication are critical along with being well planned, researched and know the numbers at every conversation.

Having run several year-end processes you now know what works and what pitfalls to avoid and that is the experience is needed to win the hire of this position.

This permanent appointment is a rare opportunity to extend the accounting career from qualification and ownership of the month and year end reporting periods and driving the budget process.
