Accounts Assistant – Full-Time | Rydalmere

Location: Rydalmere (In-Office)
Salary: $65k - $75k
Department: Finance
Reports To: Accounts Manager

About the Company

We are a well-established construction consultancy specializing in project management, cost estimation, and building design. We work with clients across various industries, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable – Managing transactions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Payroll Support – Assisting in payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Superannuation Management – Helping process super contributions efficiently.
  • Budget & Forecasting – Supporting cash flow forecasting and budget preparation.
  • Financial Reporting – Assisting in the preparation of fortnightly and monthly reports.
  • Month-End Procedures – Helping with closing procedures and reconciliations.
  • Reconciliations – Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Emails & Correspondence – Managing internal and external communication professionally.
  • Proposal & Fee Preparation – Assisting in preparing proposals and estimates.
  • General Admin & Compliance – Maintaining ISO and company safety standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in Finance or Administration – Previous experience in accounts or administrative support.
  • Strong Attention to Detail – Ability to maintain high accuracy in financial records.
  • Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent Time Management – Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task effectively.
  • Strong Communication Skills – Ability to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
  • Strong Organizational Skills – Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Technical Proficiency – Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & Word and strong MYOB proficiency.
  • A Positive and Proactive Attitude – Self-motivated and eager to contribute to a growing team.
