This is a Recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term part Time for 12 months, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2025.
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialists to join the Community Mental Health team based in the Midwest covering the Gascoyne and Murchison areas – Carnarvon, Meekatharra and Exmouth.
Position Profile: Responsible for the assessment, planning, case management and delivery of clinical mental health care to complex clients of the Midwest Region. Provide a specialist clinical, consultant and educational service to clients, carers and primary health care providers. Acts as a clinical resource for other team members.
Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Midwest health region of Western Australia covers more than 470,000 square kilometres, nearly one fifth of the State, with its population concentrated along the coast. The region is located in the northern middle section of Western Australia and incorporates three health districts - Gascoyne, Geraldton, Midwest and Murchison, is recognised for its unique natural environment and is a culturally diverse region with Aboriginal people representing 13% of the overall population.
