Nuage have partnered with a large global enterprise as part of their Digital Transformation journey. We are supporting them with growth across various business units within Technology. For the next wave of growth they are looking to inject a Senior Site Reliability Engineer.

About the Role:

• Build & Support Applications: Take responsibility for the development, deployment, and maintenance of applications as part of the Observability platform.
• Collaboration with MLOps & SRE Teams: Work in close collaboration with the SRE team to ensure the applications are built to scale and highly reliable, while also supporting the MLOps functions.
• Coding & Development: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Golang or Python.
• Linux Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of Linux systems (DNS, system configuration, etc.) to diagnose and solve complex problems.
• Kubernetes Management: Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and optimal resource utilization.
• Observability & Monitoring: Contribute to the development and integration of observability tools and services to monitor, analyze, and ensure the health of the platform.
• Automation & Optimisation: Automate manual processes and optimize workflows, improving the overall reliability and efficiency of systems.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in Golang or Python: Proven experience writing and reading code in Golang or Python.
• Linux Expertise: Strong knowledge of Linux, including DNS, system configuration, and general troubleshooting skills.
• Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, with a focus on high availability and scalability.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managing distributed systems in the cloud.
• Observability & Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools and observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, with a keen focus on performance and scalability.
