The client is a national publicly listed rail operator.

ROLES

Lead Planning Engineer

This is a contract consulting role for a Lead Planning Engineer. Responsibilities include:

• Improve the planning function by developing and implementing an improved process.
• Lead the development of a master schedule of 25+ projects for the annual work program.
• Work closely with the Project Control Lead and collaborate with project teams and the Estimating function.
• Coach staff planning engineers and schedulers.

The role will be supported by several staff planning engineers. This is a hybrid role located in Brisbane, QLD, with some work from home acceptable.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in project planning using Primavera. Experience should include multi-discipline engineering and construction projects.
• Prior experience working as a Senior or Lead Planning Engineer on major projects.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience in construction or related industries.

Senior Planning Engineer

This is a contract consulting role for a Senior Planning Engineer (Senior Planner). Responsibilities include:

• Provide planning and scheduling expertise to the Lead Planning Engineer and Project Controls Lead.
• Help to develop the master schedule for the annual work program.
• Collaborate with project teams and the Estimating function.
• Coach staff planning engineers and schedulers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in project planning using Primavera. Experience should include multi-discipline engineering and construction projects.
• Prior experience working as a Senior Planning Engineer on major projects.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience in construction or related industries.
