About the Role
As an HR Officer, you will play a key role in supporting employees and managers across various HR functions, including:
- End-to-end recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a smooth experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Providing advice on HR policies, award interpretation, and compliance.
- Assisting managers with performance management processes and employee concerns.
- Managing terminations, exit interviews, and retention initiatives.
- Promoting employee well-being programs and engagement initiatives.
- Ensuring HR documentation and compliance with industry regulations.
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous process improvements.
About You
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate IV or higher in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar HR coordination or advisory role in aged care, healthcare, or community services.
- Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to the facilities.
Desirable Criteria:
- Understanding of Aged Care Standards and sector-specific HR challenges is an advantage.
