Located in Western Sydney, we are a specialist in Civil Construction. An innovative company, that provides a complete civil solution in all facets of civil infrastructure, including drainage, sewer and water, bulk and detail earthworks, demolition, site remediation and naturalisation.

The Opportunity

This position has come about due to continued growth and the desire to propel the business to the next level. pivotal in this will be your role as Civil Estimator. To excel in this role, we envisage that you'll be,

• An experienced Civil Estimator/Engineer with a strong track record & client relationship
• Experienced and proven success rate in Local Government tenders and projects.

Key Attributes

To be successful in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 10 years relevant civil estimating experience in Australia, working in civil construction including water & sewer, drainage, remediation and earthworks.
• An in-depth understanding of contracts and contract administration.
• Ability to interpret drawing plans.
• Doing quantity take odd for tenders, contract variations and coordination of site works.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
• Able to prioritise and work too tight, often competing deadlines.
• Be highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Proven track record of winning tenders.
• Experience in producing short term programs & cost tracking spreadsheets.
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team, and attend site meetings.

Ability to complete required information during tender processes including construction programs and detailed construction methodology.

Proficient Microsoft Excel

In addition, the following would be highly regarded:-

• Bachelor's degree (Civil and/or Construction)
• Project Management experience

Salary: $140k to $180k
