ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will:

• Prepare quotes and tenders on time and to client specification including relevant qualifications (technical, commercial and contractual) for review and submission.
• Review enquiries/tenders, full SOW, documents and client specifications.
• Interpret design and build requirements in accordance with specific acceptance criteria.
• Liaise with the Business Development team to ensure clear understanding and clarity has been provided before estimation starts.
• Accurately estimate fabrication and other man hours (site inspection and installation for example).
• Obtain competitive quotes for the provision of materials and services.
• Coordinate all information required from various functions (BD, design, procurement, project coordination) to ensure top quality quotations are prepared in a timely manner.
• Review monthly data (win/loss ratio etc.) for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with clients as required on a case-by-case basis.

You will need:

• Proven experience as an Estimator
• Strong negotiating skills and the ability to secure the best possible outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Competentant skills with estimating software.
• Strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of cost structures, construction practices, and project management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Accentis, is highly desirable.
