About the role

Join the dynamic team at NCI Packaging as a full-time Machine Operator based in Preston, Victoria. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our packaging machinery, playing a key part in delivering high-quality products to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

• Operate a range of automated packaging machines with precision and care
• Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance
• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with the wider production team to meet daily output targets
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
