About the role

We are seeking an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join our talented team at Smartstitches Design & Embroidery in Moorabbin, VIC. As a full-time Embroidery Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and high-quality production of custom embroidered products for our diverse range of clients.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and maintain commercial-grade embroidery machines to produce intricate and high-quality embroidered designs
• Load, prepare and monitor embroidery machines to ensure optimal performance and output
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to support efficient and safe operations
• Contribute to the overall productivity and success of the Smartstitches team

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong technical skills and understanding of commercial embroidery equipment and software
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges that arise
• A keen interest in the textile and apparel industry
