Finance Officer | Adelaide | ASO6 | 12 Month Contract

We are partnering with a leading government agency in Adelaide dedicated to fostering accessibility, inclusion, and innovation. This is an exciting 12-month contract opportunity for a talented Finance Officer to join their dynamic Operations team - a role where financial expertise meets purpose-driven work.

In this position, you'll be at the heart of financial management, supporting the procurement and sourcing of services and equipment that directly empower staff with disabilities. From managing budgets and contract negotiations to delivering month-end reporting, you'll play a vital role in ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and in line with key policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver financial management services including procurement, purchasing, accruals, and acquittals.
  • Oversee contract management and foster innovation by collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Lead budgeting and month-end financial reporting for staff support initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), financial policies, and relevant legislation.
  • Anticipate financial challenges, providing proactive solutions and strategic advice.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, sharing financial insights to drive positive outcomes.
