St Joseph's Nudgee College (Est. 1891) is a Catholic Boys' Day and Boarding school in the Edmund Rice tradition for Years 5-12, with a student population of over 1730, including 315 boarders. The College is a member of the GPS Association and focuses upon providing a balanced holistic education for all. College staff are invited to participate in the College's extensive cultural, social justice and sport programs.

Role
The College has a four day a week vacancy in our tuckshop, during school terms commencing Term 2.

• Monday to Thursday : 6.30am - 2:00pm.
• Every second Saturday during terms 2 and 3

Tuckshop Assistants ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the College Tuckshop. This position functions within a fast-paced team environment and within strict food safety and hygiene requirements.

Duties include:

• Morning set-up, food preparation, barista duties, customer service.
• Ensuring food and environmental hygiene levels are maintained.

Requirements of this position:

• Current and valid Working with Children Check Blue Card or ability to obtain.
• Able to work within a team.
• Confidence working with a modern card operating point of sales register.
• Confidence working with and supervising volunteer parents.
• Food Safety Handling Certificate is desirable.
