With a genuine passion for helping, the catering assistants work closely with our clinical and care teams to provide nutritious meals and snacks for our residents, always prioritizing food safety and hygiene.

By teaming up with the clinical and care staff, our catering staff helps create a welcoming dining experience that supports the health and well-being of our residents.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant qualification and/or previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, aged care or similar industry is desirable, but not mandatory
• Availability to work a range of shifts, including weekends, holidays and morning or afternoons
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
• Commitment to customer service and quality aged care
• Ability to pass a police check if successful in application

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals to elderly residents
• Cleaning of service areas and dining room set up
• Adhering to workplace health and safety and safety standards
• Washing dishes in the kitchen and prepping ingredients
• Table setting and aiding with plating of meals
• Assisting the Chefs as required in day-to-day tasks
• Food and beverage service
