We are looking for an organised and experienced person to fill the role of Executive Assistant in a NSW Government Ministerial Office.
This is a full-time office-based role which is located at 52 Martin Place Sydney.

We are searching for a proactive and diligent person who is keen, dedicated and can exercise sound judgment at all times.

About you:

  • You have the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast, high-pressure environment and handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • You are an excellent communicator, have strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • You have the ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • You are adaptable, resilient and agile and strive for continuous improvement.
  • You have a working knowledge of the NSW Government with an understanding of the political environment seen as highly desirable.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the Minister's diary and schedule and ensure the Minister's diary and other disclosure obligations are adhered to.
  • Manage event and meeting requests with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for the Minister and staff as required.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the office including provision of stationery and consumables
  • Work with Departmental Liaison Officers and advisers to respond expeditiously to phone calls and correspondence from members of the public and Members of Parliament.
  • Manage meeting room diaries and set up
  • Support the Minister and office with other tasks as required.

Salary: To be negotiated
