As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented team of software, integration, and quality engineers, providing technical leadership to 10+ people for the product system.

What You Will Bring:

• Proficiency in Java software development, with in-depth knowledge of architecture patterns and APIs.
• Experience in developing APIs and cloud-based solutions (AWS), focusing on micro-service architectures (Java, Spring Boot, EKS, Confluent Kafka).
• Expertise in enterprise CI/CD capabilities and tools, providing guidance on best practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud engineering principles, with design and development experience in one or more cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of cloud concepts such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Familiarity with containerisation concepts and implementation considerations.
• Experience with complex data structures and semi-structured data (JSON, XML).
• Experience with Design Governance, taking responsibility for the end-to-end software design process across large programs of work.
• Curiosity and compassion.
• Business acumen in Enterprise Risk and Derivatives product life-cycle.
• Leadership experience with a passion for coaching and mentoring both direct and indirect reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
