As a nationwide brand BCMC Safety Solutions is all about making properties safer and we have great opportunity for an A-Grade Safety Service Electrician who has a valid electrical licence to join our Melbourne and surrounds team in various locations. This role is completing safety checks + tests only and changing hardwired smoke alarms and completing the electrical safety checks as per The Residential Tenancy Act. There is no further works / quoting / paperwork or manual labour required. Making this position easy and stress-free.

About the opportunity:

• Receive a daily run sheet of jobs to complete each day and have the support of a local office if needed.
• You will conduct safety inspections at residential rental properties in accordance with The Government Legislation in VIC which includes but is not limited to; smoke alarm testing, electrical installations (verification by visual and minimal testing) of electrical installations and landlord supplied appliances within rental properties, blind compliance, air conditioning cleaning and a minimal switchboard safety check.
• Full training, all tools and equipment and on-going support is provided.

• Trustworthy and dependable.
• Current Electrical license in VIC.

Experience we need from you:

• Confident driver.
• Ability to navigate basic technology, including an iPhone.
• Current drivers licence
• A national police check will be required if successful.
• Basic understanding of using tools.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
