We are currently seeking skilled Boilermakers to join our team at a Sugar Mill in Mackay, QLD, for an exciting 3 month project starting immediately. This role involves general maintenance tasks within the sugar mill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs on boiler systems and related machinery.
• Performing welding, fitting, and fabrication tasks as required.
• Working in compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Collaborating with a team to ensure efficient operations during the project.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Boilermaker (min 2 years).
• Valid and current Boilermaker tickets.
• Construction White Card.
• RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces.
• MSMWHS217 – Gas Test Atmospheres.
• RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights.
• General tools and equipment for the role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols.
• Available to start immediately.

Bonus Tickets (Not Required, but Preferred):

• HRWL (High-Risk Work Licence) for Forklift and EWP over 11 metres.
• TLILIC0016 – Licence to Operate a Bridge and Gantry Crane.

Work Schedule:

• 12-hour days with 3 breaks per day, totaling 1 hour (paid).
• For every 12-hour shift worked, you will be paid for 12 hours.
