Mills Recruitment is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Western Australia to find a skilled boilermaker with expertise in heavy gauge structural MIG and Flux core welding. This is a six-month DIDO contract position, working in a modern production environment to produce heavy-duty industrial equipment.

Position: Boilermaker - Night Shift
Location: DIDO
Roster: 9:5
Rate: $68.64 per hour
Hours: 12-hour shifts

Mills Recruitment is seeking a skilled Boilermaker for one of our valued manufacturing clients. This is an exciting night shift opportunity on a DIDO basis, with a 9:5 roster.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Perform aluminium welding (experience desirable).
• Select, clean, and prepare metal stock for fabrication.
• Mark and cut out sections and shapes using hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Fit up and fabricate components in jigs and according to drawings.
• Join metal sections using MIG and FCAW welding techniques.
• Examine welds for size, penetration, and defects.
• Identify and resolve fabrication difficulties.
