About the Role:
CFA is seeking a Network Administrator to manage and support its ICT network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with technical procedures and business requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert advice and solutions on CFA networks and datacentre infrastructure in line with service level agreements
- Installing, configuring and maintaining network devices and unified communications
- Conducting preventative and ongoing systems management for network devices
- Conduct research on newly adopted technologies which CFA might utilise
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to support business requirements
- Be part of the afterhours support roster group to support the core ICT business services
About You:
To succeed in this key role, you will be tertiary qualified in a related field, have relevant industry certificatioans and/or experience in similar roles within large and complex enterprise environments. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP and Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate are preferable. You will also demonstrate IT project management experience with knowledge of various security and authentication methods such as RADIUS, Active Directory and Azure Entra.
Further to this, you will have demonstrated knowledge of various LAN technologies such as structured building cabling, fibre and wireless technologies and knowledge of IP telephony protocols such as SIP, SCCP and Cisco network equipment. Knowledge of ITIL based change management methodologies is a must.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player with a willingness to learn and share knowledge. Strong liaison and negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively and harmoniously with other team members and clients under pressure and to strict deadlines will be important to your success.
