Are you looking to join a dynamic team at one of Melbourne's most iconic cultural and historical landmarks? MSS Security is seeking reliable and motivated Casual Security Officers to support the safety and security of our Museums Victoria.

We are looking for Casual Security Officers who will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our Museums Victoria sites. Previous experience in security or customer service is preferred but not essential. Control room experience is advantageous but not a requirement - we provide full training.

About the Role:

Managing CCTV footage, access control, and other security operations from the control room.

• Monitor and patrol museum premises to ensure the safety of visitors, staff, and valuable collections.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
• Assist with crowd control and visitor inquiries as needed.
• Report any security-related issues or incidents.

Skills & Requirements:

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Current Victorian Security Licence with a control room endorsement
• Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations
• Current Valid First Aid Certificate (Level 2) and CPR
• Current Drivers Licence
• Working With Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
• Availability to work a rotating roster
