Ironforge Security is currently looking for a number of Security Officers around the Cairns region including Innisfail, Port Douglas & Mareeba, to carry out duties in different environments as casual static officers. These duties will be Static Security, and customer service based. Officers need to be professionally presented, and well-mannered with a positive attitude towards everyone.

*WEEKLY PAY* All guards are paid per the Security Services Industry Award [MA000016] and above.

Minimum Rates $32.78 - $72.11 Per Hour

About You

• Previous experience as a Security Officer (Highly Regarded)
• The Right to Work in Australia (Aus Birth cert, Aus/NZ Passport, VISA)
• Hold valid QLD RSA
• Hold a valid Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card) (Desirable)
• Hold current First Aid and CPR (Must have)
• Valid Security License under the Security Industry Act and Regulations of the state
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good observation skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• High attention to detail with all reports
• Ability to use a smartphone and operate our rostering system
• Proven ability to negotiate and resolve conflict situations with the ability to be courteous and professional
