About the Role:

This position serves as a specialist in a specific area of ICT, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The role involves maintaining deep expertise in their field while providing technical leadership and strategic guidance. Their insights help ensure ongoing alignment between their domain and the broader ICT strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise and take the lead in shaping the vision and development of systems and products within the broader technology landscape, ensuring they align with both current and future business and stakeholder needs.
• Engage proactively with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to understand their application and technology requirements while offering guidance and support to drive effective solutions.
• Conduct and maintain in-depth analysis of existing systems, platforms, and applications, creating essential artefacts that support project, product, and service delivery in accordance with enterprise architecture, policies, and standards.
• Establish and communicate domain management frameworks that promote consistency and best practices in data management.
• Lead efforts in system rationalisation, integration, and efficiency, ensuring alignment with business, project, and DSI requirements.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support business objectives and contribute to successful outcomes.
• Exemplify leadership behaviours by applying the five ways of leading to create positive outcomes for customers, employees, and communities.
• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions (AWS or Azure).
• Lead enterprise integration implementations and evaluate architectural options.
• Drive on-premises to cloud migrations and cybersecurity solution implementations.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in cloud and enterprise integration projects.
• Strong expertise in AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to evaluate and recommend architectural options.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, outcome-driven environment.
