About the role

We are looking for a motivated and disciplined Law Graduate to join our legal team at MCL Legal in the Victorian town of St Arnaud.

What you'll be doing

• Developing skills and experience in various areas of law, including property, commercial, wills and estates, and estate planning
• Working under supervision and opportunities to work autonomously as your skills develop
• Liaising with clients, drafting documents, managing files and researching legal issues
• Contributing to the firm's success in providing quality legal services to our clients
• Expanding your knowledge and staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law

What we're looking for

• Friendly demeanour, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and foster rapport with clients
• A recently completed law degree
• An interest in gaining practical, hands-on legal experience
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
