Your New Company:
You will be joining a boutique Project Management Consultancy who have built a name for their high quality work across the health, education, retail, commercial and aged care sectors, where they have longstanding relationships with clients with ongoing portfolios of work.
The company itself currently has a team of 15 talented project managers, with an excellent culture and really harness a collaborative environment, enabling their staff to gain full end to end project exposure, in order to develop themselves and progress in their career within the company.
They have a stunning office in an excellent location, which also has a high spec kitchen and bar area, and outside they have a bbq area and putting green, should anyone want to work on their short game.
Your New Role:
You will be joining the team working alongside a senior member on staff, where you will gain great mentorship and exposure across the complete project lifecycle, while also dealing directly with clients and relevant stakeholders.
In terms of projects, you will gain a great opportunity to work across the spread of sectors in which the company operate in, including; health, education, retail, commercial and aged care.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Communicating with clients to understand their project requirements and goals.
- Creating project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Managing project tasks and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinating with other team members and stakeholders, including clients and relevant professionals.
- Tracking project progress and reporting to clients and senior management.
- Identifying and resolving project issues or conflicts.
- Managing client expectations and building strong relationships.
- Participating in project meetings and calls.
- Assisting senior project managers with other tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
Ideally, you will be Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager who has gained over 3 years’ of experience within a Project Management Consultancy or Contractor.
Alongside this, experience within either educational or healthcare projects would be advantageous.
Additional attributes of the ideal candidate are:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
- Strong financial and budget management skills, with the ability to manage project budgets and financials.
- Knowledge of local construction industry and a strong knowledge of the Victorian Building Codes.
- Must also have a full Australian Driving License
